I am quite a fan of Calvin Klein and I was expecting a designer brand like this to produce high quality products, however if I’m completely honest, I was really disappointed by this lip gloss!
I picked up one of these lip gloss pots as I thought they were a convenient size to pop in my bag and because I really liked the colour. This particular shade is called ‘Bronzed’.
To start with let me point out that the lip gloss is very moisturising and lasts for quite some time. It does make my lips feel very soft but also makes them tingle, similar to a plumping gloss, which I really hate.
Unfortunately though, that’s as far as my compliments go. What I don’t like about this lip gloss is that it smells really bad and doesn’t apply very well. The gloss is really hard and swirling your finger around in the pot doesn’t seem to do very much. I had to really dig down into the pot to pick up the slightest bit of the gloss. Even though the pot was completely sealed when I bought it, it smells of lemons and crayons, which is usually a sign that a lipstick is out of date.
